Lucas has been a part of Heartland’s ecological restoration team since its inception in 2019. His experience includes completing and leading invasive species management utilizing various adaptive management techniques. Proficiency in mechanics and equipment operation/maintenance are additional skills he brings to the team. Lucas has completed vegetation management on a variety of project types, including ILF mitigation sites, solar sites, and various other wetland and upland project sites throughout the State of Wisconsin. He certifications include Wildland Fire Fighter Type 2, Certified and Licensed Pesticide Applicator - Category 5.0 and 6.0 (WDATCP), and Beginner Level Chainsaw Safety Training.
