Luke Bignall joins us from Michigan where he received his BS in Wildlife Ecology and Management from Michigan Technological University. Luke’s expertise expands beyond his education and experience with wildlife. His background includes time spent working with Idaho Fish & Game and Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Natural Resource Department where he expanded his skillset in vegetation management and landscape surveys.

Luke supports our ecological restoration services, including vegetation management, native plant and seed installation, and erosion control. Luke’s proficiency in mechanics and equipment operation/maintenance are additional skills he brings to the team. Luke came on board as part of our seasonal staff and joined Heartland full-time in August 2022.
