Matt joined our restoration services team in November 2024. Matt immediately jumped on a new project removing buckthorn in the renowned Cedarburg Bog.

Matt comes to Heartland with a background in Forestry, obtaining his degree from Michigan State University, and has six years of experience working directly in environmental restoration. Matt is also a certified burn boss and spent part of his career working as a Wildland Firefighter.
