Heartland’s Winter Work in the Cedarburg Bog State Natural Area

Heartland's restoration crew works within The Cedarburg Bog State Natural Area performing woody invasive species control. This particular project aims to control the population of invasive glossy and common buckthorn within 202 acres of the bog. The project is made possible through a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, with support from the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program.
