Welcome Matt Gedritis

Matt visits the Mount Horeb home office for a project kick-off meeting, joining up with the entire Heartland ecological restoration team!

Welcome Matt to Heartland!

Mid-November (2024), Matt joined our restoration services team and jumped on a new project removing buckthorn in the renowned Cedarburg Bog.

Matt comes to Heartland with a background in Forestry, obtaining his degree from Michigan State University, and has six years of experience working directly in environmental restoration. Matt is also a certified burn boss and spent part of his career working as a Wildland Firefighter.

We are thrilled to have Matt supporting our Pewaukee location and look forwarding to sharing more about what this crew is up to as we enter the 2025 growing season!
